From Riviera to Matchplay

Well, last week at Riviera was not quite what team Simpson had in mind.  Webb fought with everything he had to simply make the cut. He putted and chipped incredibly well on Thursday and Friday to sneak in for the weekend. Some weeks the game and body simply don’t want to work. We worked incredibly hard on the weekend and feel we have it figured out. We finished the week T70th at +4.

We are now here in Marana, AZ preparing for the WGC Matchplay at Dove Mountain.  It’s the only matchplay tournament of the year and the format.

It’s a tough week mentally as you can play great, but go home on the 1st day depending on your competitor for that round.  Likewise, you can play poorly and advance if you’re fortunate. We are paired with a great player from Thailand named Thongchai Jaidee. He’s a skilled player and a nice guy!

Thanks for all the continuous thoughts, prayers, gifts & emails for Isaiah. He’s doing great and continues to amaze us.

God Bless.
