“Hey! Quit squeezing my cheeks!” Ha!

Statement from Paul and Michelle this morning:

“The Tesoris are overwhelmed and humbled by your prayers and ask that you keep them coming. They are working! Tests came back yesterday from baby Isaiah’s brain MRI indicating normal brain function! His renal (kidney) tests are also in the normal range.

He spent time with a geneticist yesterday and we’ll have bloodwork results back from the Down Syndrome test in 7-10 business days as well as a battery of other tests they have yet to perform including an EEG of his brain scheduled for today.

In other HUGE news, we were able to hold our sweet angel for the very first time yesterday. We sang to him and kissed all over his tiny body. It was God’s work for sure, as we’d had no indication when holding him might be an option.

We have honestly read every single email, text, tweet, note, card and listened to every voicemail and want you to know how moved we are by each and every one, especially the kind words from Zach and Kim Johnson following their win in Maui yesterday. Congrats! We love you guys!

We cannot adequately describe how humbled we are that our sweet son has touched so many peoples hearts. We are overjoyed with the grace we have received from God and all of you.

We will continue to try to keep you posted as information becomes available and we’ve had time to share with immediate family.”

Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, my soul. I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.

~ Psalm 146:1-2
