Monday Morning #CupFullofPrayer

In typical Monday fashion, #teamisaiah’s prayer warriors are called into action to share thoughtful prayers for those close (and far away) to us. Please take a moment out of your busy schedule today to keep those below in your thoughts and prayers. Our God is a BIG God of both intricate detail and overflowing abundance.

We’ve prayed for ways to keep Operation Feed Wolfson, and we are excited to have found a way to now involve Girl Scout Cookies!!

This new opportunity allows you to send treats to the NICU nurses and doctors of Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Want to help us feed the staff at Wolfson via the foundation? Contact Kellie Nelson and you can be part of our bulk order of Girl Scout cookies! You can order 1 box, 20 boxes, whatever! They’ll all go to Wolfson to feed the doctors and nurses and staff saving babies like Isaiah every day!

We have learned to entrust our faith in God, and in return He surprises us with answering our petitions. Come to Monday’s #CupFullofPrayer in joyful expectation of receiving all you need. God delights in showering his beloved children, and will wrap his wings around all in need of prayer.

Please pray for these friends, families, and wonderfully made strangers.

For our friend Josiah Mills who needs more prayers. It is now day 25 Josiah is on life support, but his family and loved ones have faith that he will be able to see this page soon and smile.

For our deer friend R’s mother, Ramona. They moved her from Birmingham to live with them 5 years ago and Alzheimer’s is getting the best of her. Pray for her to dance with Jesus when they should meet.

For sweet baby Bella. Every minute of every precious day bless Drina, Daniel, Evan and Bella with Your never ending love, mercy and the fullness of Your Grace. Let the Holy Spirit fill their hearts and minds with courage and strength so they are never afraid and understand you will not fail or leave them.

For sweet CP and his father JP – may their journey in the Downs syndrome family bring joy and lessons about life they never dreamed possible.

For all of the men, women and children we served at The Sulzbacher Center last Monday. Also, for all of the volunteers who donated their time to prepare a special lunch to the homeless community. May we learn to always put others first, regardless of societal status.

For Jenna Hinman who is fighting for her life in a medically-induced coma after she gave birth to healthy twins at 30 weeks pregnancy, only to discover she had a rare cancer of the placenta that has filled her lungs with tumors. We also pray for her beautiful family’s strength to stand by Jenna, and help her two premature twin babies grow to be strong for their mommy. Read Jenna’s story – it will move you to tears.

For Mr D in Vermont to receive encouraging results on his medical tests, as well as ’normal’ results on his cancer detection tests.

For Helen in Connecticut who has battled mental illness for most of her life, but is now struggling in the emergency room. We pray for strength and encouragement for her friends and family who support Helen through these trying times.

For Gail F, a nine year ovarian cancer survivor, and her continued recovery and survival.

For our Down syndrome family and their celebrations on National Down syndrome Awareness Day! We pray for continued celebration of the extra “chromie” every day of the year.

For Greg and Dana Jones for a renewed marriage this past weekend! May the blessings continue throughout the next 10 years!
