Getting married in one week!

Merry Christmas from all of us here in sunny, warm Florida! Our 2011 season is over and what an amazing blessing this year has been. We finished the year ranked 2nd on the money list, 2nd in the FedEx Cup, and 10th in the world! From the position we started this year, it’s evident God’s hand has been involved in every step of the process in this incredible year.

Quick update on our schedule for next year. We’re going to play the first two events in Hawaii, then take 4 of the next 5 weeks of in an attempt to rest up after a busy 2011 “off season!”.

In this season of giving, we wanted to also update you all on our ongoing Tesori Family Foundation giving – we recently partnered with Bright Holidays to help provide Christmas for underprivileged students and families in the greater Jacksonville, FL area during the holiday season. What a blessing to be able to give back to those who don’t have the ability to provide what we all consider “typical” Christmas for their families.

In truth, however, Christmas is all about celebrating the birth of Jesus.

And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.  And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”  And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,  “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”
Luke 2:10-14.

Michelle and I couldn’t be more excited to be sharing this Christmas with our families, and in a very big way.!With our wedding just a week away on December 30th, we will have extra family and friends in town celebrating both the birth of Jesus and our blessed union this holiday season! We can’t wait!

Last thing:  remember, the holidays is more about giving than receiving. We encourage you to reach out in your local community, find even just ONE person in need, and share some holiday joy with them.  Changing lives begins one person at a time.

May God bless each and every one of you, and have a very safe and MERRY Christmas!
