I want to apologize for doing such a terrible job updating my website. I have self diagnosed dinosauritis! You won’t find dinosauritis in the dictionary but here’s the definition: one who hasn’t a clue or desire to understand technology.
I have several friends who have stayed on me when it comes to the website. We haven’t quit giving our resources to help those less fortunate. We will start updating the website at least twice per month.
Let’s start with some golf updates. The 2013 season was a season full of ups and downs. I had rotator cuff and labrum surgery on Dec 11th and missed the West Coast Swing. I was fortunate to have some great friends and caddies fill in to help get Webb off to a good start. While we failed to win during the official 2013 PGA Tour season, we did finish 11th in the FedEx Cup standings and made the Winning Presidents Cup Team.
“2014” got off to a great start however. For those of you who don’t know, the Tour started something new this season. Beginning with The Fry’s.Com Open in October, the 2014 PGA Tour Schedule began. We started our 2014 schedule last week in Vegas. Webb shot -24 and won by an impressive 6 shots. It was Webb’s 4th title and a much deserved addition to his trophy case. Webb has always made a point to judge seasons based on whether or not he’s improved. He definitely improved in 2013 even though the results weren’t what we’d hoped. 2014 might just show the true shape of Webb’s game.
We are playing the McGladrey Classic in two weeks in St. Simons, GA. Our last Tourney of the year will be in Thousand Oaks, CA for the Northwestern Mutual World Challenge December 2-8.
Thanks to the win in Vegas, Webb will start next years portion of the schedule in Maui for the Tournament of Champions. I won’t be attending Maui yet again this year. My Wife Michelle and I are expecting our 1st child together sometime around the end of Dec or beginning of Jan. Isaiah will hopefully be joining us as a happy and healthy baby. I’ll miss the month of January and will most likely be back for Pebble Beach the 1st week of February.
I’m going to let Michelle follow up in a few days to fill you in on some things we are doing with ourselves and the TFF. Michelle sits on the board for Blessings In a Backpack which is an incredible cause. We look forward to helping feed the area hungry and homeless again this year for Thanksgiving and Christmas in the Northeast Florida area.
God bless!
