In the Hunt for Augusta

I wanted to give everyone an update on our progress heading into competition at Augusta National. This week, we are playing in Houston to see if we can get sharper going into The Masters. The course here in Houston is setup similarly to Augusta with low, rough and quick greens. We hope to go even lower the rest of the week, as we shot -4(68) on Thursday.

Webb and I always meet in Augusta to prepare before heading into competition at The Masters. We talk strategy before the Tournament to avoid overworking during the week of play. Due to a massive ice storm last month, Augusta lost the iconic Eisenhower tree – and boy let me tell you, it looks different. The 17th hole will never be the same. We feel prepared and ready to enter the hunt for the green jacket, and I know we are in a good place to do just that.

On and off the course, Michelle and I thank you for all of your continued support and prayers for Isaiah. He had a great update yesterday and managed to not cry during his shot at his doctor appointment – he definitely gets his toughness from his mom.

Stay tuned for a post Tournament recap of The Masters!
